    The Akai pro mpk series are really popular and good midi boards, just that the larger boards particularly the 88 key version seem to suffer from low quality control standards. It has to do with the keys making a increasingly louder grinding noise the closer you get to middle C. I believe they have since fixed the issue. Then the arturia keylabs, random keys will stop working. Ive also heard issues with korg boards as well along with other manufactures. so its really just getting a bad apple out of the entire lot like most electronic equipment.

    that lava lamp is like looking into the sun...

    Ahhh, well it's a good thing I got a reoccurring warranty from the shop I bought it from. My middle C doesn't have a grinding noise, just a noticeably louder clicking sound. Something I'll keep an eye on though.

    And if it's blinding, then don't look at it :p BTW, the lava lamp is purple/red base colour, and had been on for multiple hours for that photo.

    Messy desk. Empty glass. 4 screens over two machines with a dynamic network KVM (one mouse and keyboard run both)

    How i spent my day rebuilding an old laptop and installing W10 on it. Using the left screens for server management and forum checking.
