Same as the mech version of this thread, post chassis you want to see. Three Categories of Vehicles: OmniVehicle - second most common unit, typically used by frontline forces Vehicle - piloted by conventional garrison armies; this is the single most common type of unit in the 33rd century Drones - AI or remote controlled vehicles (cheaper, mass-produced versions of OmniVehicles)

GM NOTE: For tanks, I'm thinking of limiting it to just a few new designs for now. I'm hoping that "hardened armor" will increase the survival rate of vehicles. This needs to be tested further. Example: Armadillo USF-D18 Tons: 70 Movement: 4/6 (Tracked) Engine: 280 Internal: 35 Armor: 80 (Hardened) (each armor point can absorb two points of damage, roll chance for critical hits are also reduced by 2) Internal Armor Front 7 20 Right 7 15 Left 7 15 Rear 7 10 Turret 7 20 Weapons Loc Heat GAC/8 TU 8 ER Flamer TU 4 Laser AMS (THB) TU 3 Ammo Loc Shots GAC/8 Ammo BD 5 GAC/8 Ammo BD 5 GAC/8 Ammo BD 5 GAC/8 Ammo BD 5 GAC/8 Ammo BD 5 Equipment Loc Hardened FR Carrying Capacity: One battle armor squad
Gauss Autocannon. it is OP as fuck, but I am balancing it out by making it one of the hardest weapons to "unlock". Yes, there will be tech trees assigned to each faction. I plan to better define the tech trees later, but this will give you a rough idea: http://www.theskjaldborg.com/index.php?threads/discussion-factions.7460/#post-154822
Hetzer in some way shape or form. I'll look into making a fancy one for you after work. Edit: First pass. Hardened armor, UAC20, CASE II, and an ER Small coaxial. Not super crazy like someone's GAC, but stull terrifying as fuck in an urban setting. If anyone has suggestions, just throw me a pm so we don't clutter up this thread on the glorious Hetzer. Not sure if I like the UAC more than the LBX20. Again, this is a rough first pass. 2nd Edit: Couldn't resist. If a Hetzer is gonna Hetz...
Not sure how far into the fluff of standing army vehicles you want to go, Magnus, but I just cooked up an IFV for the Dracs from scratch. Not sure if the sponsons do anything in MM, but they were more of a fluff/visual decision. Same thing for the Targeting Computer; I don't know if it works with infantry, but I figured if it did, we could work it into the fluff that it's there to help coordinate with the infantry and blah blah blah.
sorry smoke. too slow and too expensive. minimum speed needs to be 4/6 (no more units with speeds of mopeds). While XLs make vehicles vastly more effective, they also double their price. This makes XL equipped vehicles an unpopular choice for large standard armies. Hardened armor will definitely be standard issue for all vehicles, though, as it makes them far more resistant to critical hits for only a slight increase in cost. I don't hate the design, overall, but basic parameters still need to be set down before we start cranking out designs. To be honest, I haven't even begun to flesh out vehicles for the campaign, but would be happy to discuss details with you on TS (pm's are okay too as long as I don't have to write books).

No one suspects the rapid fire MG tank until they get murdered in the face by one. The 0/0/25 is new to me though... and hilarious.

That's the Alliance Industries Ltd version, which is Clan Tech. Here's the Inner Sphere tech version I threw together. Slower with a lot less ammo, but same mortar load.
