Fly your banners here; let the warriors of these halls hear of your might and judge your worth. Níðingr "níð was a term for a social stigma implying the loss of honour and the status of a villain. A person affected with the stigma is a nīðing (Old Norse: níðingr/ᚾᛁᚦᛁᚴᛦ)" Barracks: Spoiler Primary Lance: The Frontline Tank: ON1-K "Jotunn"-------------Pilot "Behemoth" 8/6/8/5 Spoiler Mad as as a hornet and tough as nails. Skirmisher 1: TDR-5SE "Sigrdrifa"------------ Pilot: "Glitch" 10/10/9/9 Spoiler Shares her name with a valkyrie, meaning to "inspire victory". Jump jets and lasers but runs icy cold. Spoiler: Mechs I like to keep my enemy at very long range and pick them off one at a time if possible, Highlander can fire at three seperate targets with breaching shot, is quite devastating.
How do you like the double PPC Quickdraw? I'm running mine pretty stock with 4 MLs and an LRM, and as its my heaviest mech so far its my front line brawler, but once I get heavier mechs I might swap it to a longer range mobile sniper style like yours.
Was going to add mine tonight, but then I fucked up some modded files and now my game won't launch (reinstalling now).
to be honest I haven't fielded it as a sniper yet, my other quickdraw is just like you said, heavy brawler with 4ml a bunch of JJ to close the distance and a melee focused pilot.
Honestly I think I like the random pilots more than any of the KS pilots I've seen. All the ones I've come across just feel like that Mary Sue rogue everyone knows and hates in DnD. Amazing pilot, usually from Solaris or a house unit, betrayal, blah blah blah, knows a thousand ways to kill a man, blah blah blah.
I found a lazy cappellan noble named "scrub" whose family thought he wasn't good for anything and exiled him to a rim medical outpost. He barely passed medical school. Outpost was attacked he got in a mech and won the battle. His stats at hiring were 2, 2, 2, 8. Yes he had 8 tactics. I wish one of his would be (ironically saying this) "get good, scrub". He does say something along the lines of "damn. I forgot my beach chair" It was on a sandy biome mission.
Most of the Kickstarter pilot bios give me a headache when reading. So many run on sentences and others that lead into making zero sense. If you find warboar I think it was.. you will understand.
