    -Sunday, March 24th @ 3pm EST


    Same rules apply as before:
    -bring your campaign character & mech: get your .mul file BEFORE we drop! (ask for help if you need it)
    -3 XP award for participation (+1 XP if you win)
    -priority goes to people with characters, but others may join if there is room (there should be)

    A close victory to Team 1. Both Axevid, Fet, and myself were essentially out of the fight at the end. Axevid couldn't move, Fet was almost completely cored, and I was straight up made paraplegic by Crave in the last two turns (monty python's black knight-style). Hordac was the only one who survived that was still somewhat combat ready.

    Game lasted six hours, but when you consider that we had 12 people playing, that is actually very good!... especially with all the disconnect problems. Six people is what we would normally play and would have taken roughly half the time (3 hours). Overall, well done everyone!

    I would also like to express a sincerely apology to the delay in getting things started (and sorry for my loss of patience on the jokes about it). I know you guys didn't mean anything by it, but trust me when I say I am more frustrated by it that anyone. The problem stems from my need to test the latest patch to make sure everything is stable and working correctly. This requires a lot of work on my end and I need people to test the results (ideally, probably when we don't have 12 people). The good news is that we finally have a "stable" build of MekHQ to play with now (0.2.0). That means I can FINALLY finish updating my patch. I know the constant updates are annoying, but everyone try to bear with me on it. The important thing to remember here is that we are nearing the light at the end of the tunnel. :)

    My firestarter has 1 internal on 1 leg and 3 internal on the CT. Yet I made 1 succesful jump (well fell over but didn't break that leg or kill myself) and still got up and was limping around. yay for damaged gyro. I think the upper leg actuator was shot as well.

    March 24: cancelled due to weather/server instability

    Apologies to everyone who showed up Sunday for our Megamek drop. A tornado decided to blow through my town right as we were meeting. In light of my connection being unreliable to host and our low number of players I decided it was best to just cancel the meeting. Thank you to Orc, Tzeentch, and Val for showing up (also Flessar and anyone else I forgot). I promise you guys will have priority for getting into the next one.
