Evolve - New game from L4D creators

I'm throwing money at my screen, but no game is coming out.

 

I know, right?

This should be tons of fun in our group.

 

I could see myself enjoying this. My wife and I enjoy coop games, and she's a huge l4d fan. Obviously this is quite different, but it looks like it has promise.

 

Looks like they will be at PAX East, might check it out.

Amazon lists this with a December 31st 2014 release date... so... awhile until we can get our grubby paws on it.

 

Aw jeez, hide and seek just got real. Not sure how I feel about having it all pvp, but am willing to give anything the l4d guys make at least a shot.

 

Monster Hunter and Quake Arena had a sweet, sweet lovechild. This looks amazing!

For anyone interested, Turtle Rock just opened access to closed alpha testing of Evolve; Polygon article with password and details for entry here. You only have a few hours left as of this posting to make it on the list for entry consideration, so get to it if you're up for it.

Figured this thread could use an update as well. Here's a gameplay demo from E3 last month.
