I like how first-person-shooter-y it is, a pleasant surprise. Also the visual aesthetic appeals to me. Also also Peter Dinklage is your little float robot buddy! And Nathan Gillian and Claudia Black are in it too!
Xbone or 360? Cause if it is actually good... I could MAYBE be convinced to get it for 360... but I sure as hell am not buying an xbone.
one was, but a different closet, not the one that looks like it's piled up debris from Hiroshima. The rest were in a box that was recently discovered as we were mining the storage area for garage sale stuff.
PS4 here, apparently university hubs and things like apartment routers are getting the centipede error, regardless of NAT type it seems. It seems to be on Bungies end, because I was able to create a character last night after trying to log on repeatedly. Getting into the game from character select got me the "elderberry" error no matter how many times I tried though so... Monty Python jokes abound.
Did the first "strike" (read "dungeon") last night. Lots of fun. I'm really liking the FPS basis of the game. PvP matchmaking needs some work, the level spread is a bit too much right now, as I keep getting pulled into matches with people waaaay higher than me.
PS4 Here. If anyone finds a good way to kill the Moon Strike Boss... let me know... He is kicking my ass over and over.
Apparently there is. Just used the search function on Bungie.net. Whoever "A Brick Wall" is made it there. Can we change the guild there to Xbone and PS4? Also, that Boss's weakpoint is in the upper chest, just hide behind the pillars on the left side of the map after entering the room and prioritize killing the adds before the boss. Many whelps. If you want to add me it's DeathCon1 on PSN. We can do the weekly heroic this weekend.
I've read nothing but bad reviews about Destiny. But all my friends who have it praise it as the one of the best games they've ever played.
General consensus from what I've read: Overhyped? Yes. Good game? Yes. It's a Bungie game so people went nuts over it. They didn't get the lord and savior of all games, BUT, they get a good, fun game that is blast with friends. And Bungie seems to want keep adding stuff into the game so I don't see a problem here. Waiting for the PC release. At that point Destiny should be in great shape, me thinks.
Apparently you'll be waiting awhile http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/968020-destiny-pc-release-date-report-says-youll-have-to-wait/
I'm totally fine waiting for a while. Gives me time to upgrade my comp for SC so I'm okay on that front too then.
