Greetings Jaque, welcome to our merry little home!! First off Merry Christmas to you and all your members We are still sitting in the wait and see camp for how we are organizing. We have a good basic ground work ready but until Chris Roberts rolls out the community side of things we don't want to dive in too deep and then have to do a lot of backtracking. With the holidays we are a spread a bit thin running around visiting family and such but I'm sure we will try to work out who our liaison officer with you all will be. MH
I have a question! What is the Imperium's stance on bears in space? Would you feel comfortable with a bear piloting your ship?
I've actually been posting on and off in the Imperium Fleet forum, but as a representative of Operation Pitchfork, not Skjaldborg. I just wanted that cleared up now in case anyone noticed me.
At some point, they will encounter our local Shaved Bear. He has taken the name "Smokey". Do not be alarmed. He does NOT want to eat your soul. Souls give him bad gas.
Imperium doesn't discriminate! If a bear can prove his/her skills as a pilot, there is no reason they shouldn't have that right. While he might not want to eat my soul, you conspicuously left out how he feels about eating the rest of me!
Greeting ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take a moment of your time to introduce myself to you as I have been requested to make myself available to you as a diplomatic liaison representing the Imperiun Organization. Since you have been without an Imperium assigned representative for a few months I, being the only North American diplomat representing Imperium at this time, volunteered myself to attempt to reopen a communications channel between our two Orgs. From what I have gathered from my discussion with Diplomacy officers, you have a more "fun and laid back group of good people/players" in the Star Citizen arena, so I am just wanting to reach out to your team, let you know that I am available, and attempt to gauge where your relations left off with you last assigned diplomat. Either way, I am around so if you feel like chatting about Star Citizen, Orgs, games, politics, or whatever, I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hrm.... what's the Imperium's stance on throwing away some Aurora's on a drunken night of conga lines, Vanduul raids and the like? I mean, the pilots might die, probably, most likely, but hey, killing a Scythe with an Aurora missile would go down in history. Right?
I would have to say, with Imperium having over 3000 members to date, that with this amount of people, and most people having a different goal for what they want their Star Citizen experience to be, that things will probably get out of hand from time to time. There is no, as far as I am aware, Imperium policy that prevents it members or allies from getting drunk and doing something crazy. At least I hope there is not or my stay will be short lived. Anyways, from what I am seeing on the SCB forums, Imperium and Skjaldborg have not come to any specific agreements as it relates to diplomatic relations. With that in mind, we at Imperium are always looking for good, solid groups of players to befriend and find some sort of common ground for mutually beneficial support. I'm not sure if you guys have had discussions along diplomatic lines. Does your group have a diplomat or other person that speaks for your group when it come to diplomatic topics?
Greetings, Juntau. I'm the official Diplomatic Officer for The Skjaldborg. I've been away for a couple of months dealing with real life stuff, but most of that has been settled, and I'm getting back into the schedule of diplomatic work again. The Skjaldborg is my primary organization, but I have also been helping to shape and organize Operation Pitchfork as one of the high tier volunteers, and have quite often been the point of contact for them as well with organizations. This is also work I'm planning on resuming here in the next couple of weeks. Well Benjamin, I am please to hear that RL is working out for you. The Star Citizen community needs as many "good" active participants as possible. I've been checking in daily, but I haven't had much time to do much beyond that. I've been spending a lot of time going into the city for appointments and trying to cut up enough wood so I don't freeze to death this winter the last two weeks.
Life is crazy busy now especially with the holidays creeping in. After the first of the year hopefully things simmer down and we can all get into some "stable" Alpha 2.0 shenanigans! I would also like to have a conversation with you guys at some point after the 1st of the year, nothing critical, just politics. I wish you all a very wonderful holiday season (aka MERRY CHRISTMAS!) and a Happy New Year!!! I'm sure we will speak soon.
And to you as well! I'll be traveling until the 8th I think, but I'll take some time to check the message board around the 3rd or 4th. The 1st and 2nd with family tends to be a bit busy. I'm pretty sure the worse of my hospital appointments are past now, and I finally got enough wood stockpiled I don't have to focus on that anymore. I should be able to poke around more.
