Actually, never, ever take your eyes off of that SCP. SCP-173 will rip you apart if you blink. Best to have at least one buddy, hopefully two. And warn eachother before you blink.
I heard the "blink one eye at a time" trick didn't work anymore, but couldn't find anything about it. Can it move when watched by only one eye or something?
No, but I was going from the Containment procedures. Not sure why that is... but I think I read another SCP where the reason for that was described. SCp-173
I actually want to play it. I've read all of the Series 1, and most of Series 2, they've started Series 3. It's a lot of reading.
or electrical, or telephone, or cable... or basically any job where people typically perform the absolute least amount of effort for the job in spite of the fact that it causes unreasonable difficulty to whoever comes next... even if it might be them. zip ties are much better than the alternative, and if you're truly concerned about damaging the wire it is possible to reverse the zip tie, a small flathead screwdriver (the kind you probably have in your toolbag if you're having anything to do with this stuff) wedged into the head of the zip tie pushes the clip back and voila, cable freedom no cutting or torquing required. I usually use a knife (because I always have one on me) but usually I don't need to bother unless I want to salvage the zip tie for something, in this case, no point, they've already been cut to size. Actually on closer inspection he might've cut them a bit too close to flush, need to have at least a few teeth left to account for inevitable entropy.
http://www.scpcbgame.com/ They made their own engine sort of? I thought I saw some open-GL rendering in the trailer on their front page. It's looking like a ton of fun.. Must try it out!
Wowzers. SCP website keeps me clicking nearly as much as wikipedia. For me, everything leads back to the "healing pills" (not to be used for hangover cure) or the acid crocodile. My favorite is the gear machine with the "coarse/fine" settings.
