Ok folks... I'm still alive... just little more pissed.
so I have a problem for you all.

Computer died. Was shut down one night. Never turned back on. No power. No Boot. No post. Nothing.
So I figure two major problems.
    Option A: Powersupply
    Option B: Motherboard

I go with the cheaper option. I buy another MB. Same type. Same brand.
    Nope same problem.

So I bought a new Power Supply (PSU for non tech say folks).
    . . . Same problem. other MB's

I did all my testing bare bones with only one stick of ram. cpu/ MB/ And a tester Video card.

    Any ideas?

I am woefully inadequate to diagnose this problem, but I'm sorry to hear that man. Best of luck. I'm sure someone else will be more capable of helping you.

Hmm, that's really odd. The only two components that will completely kill a comp are the two you changed. Stupid question: is your "On/Off" button broken? You can momentarily jumper the pins on the MB where the switch connects and see if it starts up.

Check the front panel connectors from the case to the MB. Look at the MB's manual and make sure everything is plugged in the right spot. If they are all correct, you might also need to replace the case.

Have you attempted to turn the board on from the switch on the MB rather than the power button? Are you sure you have setup the MB correctly? What type of MB are you using?

If your MB doesn't have a switch on it... you just have to try to jump it. I used tweezers to jump one of my boards. Just look for the PWR +/-.

SO heres my set up links and all.
    MB: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155
    one old one new

    PSU (OLD): Thermatake 850watt
PSU (NEW): CORSAIR CXM series CX750M 750W ATX12V v2.3 SLI
    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W
    RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

    Video Cards SLI x2 : Palit NE5X56TS1102-1140F GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) SONIC 1GB 256-bit GDDR5

So no power to MB. Causes are MB or PSU. I ordered a nother z77. Same thing. I ordered a new PSU. Same thing. Replaced Bio's batteries. Tried all 4 chips of ram. Same thing. No power. I pull out my old testing rig to test new PSU. true bare (1 ram, cpu, mb and psu only) Starts up fine.

    There are a few possibilities.
    1. My OLD PSU is janky as fuck and fried both my old and NEW MB's. Thus New PSU wouldn't work. (I don't want to test it on my old testing rig because I use that for streaming + Rendering. )
    2. Bad Replacement MB was shipped.
    3. There is a short in my case somewhere that is killing MB's/PSU's. (possible but highly unlikely.)

I just RMA'ed the MB for another replacement. This time I'll try it with my new PSU only and see what it does. Also I'll leave it out of the case.

So with that bit of information. Any ideas.?

This may sound silly, did you use the same power outlet for all tests? Same power cord?

I've had cords go bad. It's worth checking.

Blackfire: You didn't mention if you tested to see if it's your power switch on the case that's bad. It's something that can and does go bad.

I have two PSUs, Two of the same MB, Plus another testing rig that I know that works (Its my rendering comp).
No power to either of the same MB's. With either psu.
i've changed all the cords, PSU, tried to jump start with wire. Nothing. (all things work fine on my test rig.

It really sounds like you've got a switch issue. Maybe plug the wire for the power switch on your test rig into the MB on your gaming rig (like put the boxes next to each other so it will reach) and see if it will start? Or better yet get a spare power switch, they make shit-tons of them http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l2/g44/c153/list/p1/DIYMod_Parts-Switches.html . If all the stuff from your gaming comp works when you put in the other case, it has to be the switch. The case itself has no bearing on whether the comp will start and run. If you've got all the stuff hooked up right and the MB, PSU, and CPU are all alive (and I think it would at least light up even if the CPU is dead), all it needs is a momentary pulse on the switch pins on the MB to start the comp. And when I say momentary I mean just bump it.

No wasn't a switch issue. Because both new and old boards didn't work and when I'm diagnosing I use jumpers or the boards switch.

So my first board was fried.
    My secound board was DOA
My third board is ALLOWING MY TO TYPE THIS!.

Found the issue. on my case the USB's in front are not protected (Easy to damage) The power pin on one of the USB ports bent into another and shorted my board.

I gutted those USB pins. :D

Ah ok. I thought you had tested the MBs in your extra case as well. Glad you found the issue :)

Reminds me of a fun day at work tearing apart a slot machine to look for shorted wires. It gets fun. The floor attendants know already when the head lamp and multi-meter come out, shit just got real.

damn sucks all that trouble was caused by a simple usb pin. Glad you're back up and running though!
