    That is why I said if. I personally don't. Heck even being a mercenary for faction warfare isn't really mercenary.

    I mean if they can pull off their mech combat and visuals with none of the bullshit of their F2P grind and at least a semi competent single player / responsive campaign I'll be happy.

    I agree with both statements.

    Co-op is a must and I would love it.

    Also, competent AI for when I play in the middle of the night because I do that a ton.

    Seems like you would already have all the weapons and shit downloaded so that the bots could use them. I don't think they would have issues with telling the game what weapons you have. they already do it in MWO. Well all take different weapons into matches. Our end does fine with it.

    If launching from mission screen where you pick mech probably one of your own.

    I realize this is all hypothetical, but would it not be best to have mech selection tied to the specific campaign of the host player? Otherwise invited players could bring in their own mechs that may be way too OP if the campaign is still in the early stages. Seems like it would break a lot of the balance for the campaign.

    It might be it lets you pick/build from what the host has. Say you want to be in a black knight (hypothetically) but the host doesn't have one. Well tough luck. That does actually make more sense. It could also be the host assigns mech and other players get no say (other then vocal/chat). Like how you assign AI lancemate to mech just it will be players piloting instead of bots.
