D2 Raid

The raid is coming out tomorrow and I thought those of us playing could get together and plan to try to run it.

The problem is, they just announced no matchmaking. So my thought is lets get as many people as we can from our group, divide into 2 groups and then recruit from the D2 Discord.

What night works best for you guys? Weekends are going to be hard for me. Fridays are not great but I can probably swing it. Does another day work? What time?

Another thing, you must have a gear score of 500 to enter. Since the changes to some of the gear it looks like my gear score dropped below 500 and I need to make some changes. I fiddled with it last night, but I cannot find much better gear for my guild than what I have. I am however looking to add pulse to my build as it has been buffed quite a bit, but I need a piece of gear with Spotter on it.

 

You sure about 500? Everything I have heard and read said 490+.

That said, tomorrow is a no go for me. I could make Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all work

 

I could be wrong. Maybe I misread something but I cannot find where I saw it.

 

Apparently it's quite the challenge. World's First clear took about five hours.

 

Yea, and it was MarcoStyle and his clan. He is a big Division 2 Youtuber and I believe was big in Division 1 as well. Probably had multiple builds and a lot of extras under their belt.

I am pretty excited to go in blind to be honest, I am not interested in seeing the guides and stuff. He said this was the best content Division has ever had. It sounds pretty awesome.

 

They weren't particularly diverse. Macro was using a pvp dps spec and the others were using assorted gear with Damage to Elites featured prominently. Based on what I've watched from a handful of the runs now, it seems like there isn't a particularly need for a diverse comp. It is reliant on your groups ability to meet some healthy DPS checks.

 

Yea, I watched the D2 stream and they said even un-optimized builds were able to complete it in their testing as long as they were communicating well.

I be one person running True patriot would go a long way with 8 people.

 

After the buff you're probably right. I editted my post as you were responding, but it largely seems to demand some healthy DPS checks beyond anything else with specific builds.
