Very interesting. I have definitely thought about pitching in on the kickstarter efforts for this game. If only I had more hours to play =(

This. When SRR was first announced it was supposed to be possible for MP. However, because of SRO being an online multiplayer game, SRR and SRO made an agreement that SRR would be SP only and SRO would be MP only. So, SRR is to be SP only with the exception that you can make runs for other people to do.....in SP.
They actually were only ever licensed to do single player as Cliffhanger had already acquired the rights to make a multiplayer Shadowrun game. At most it was going to be like pseudo mp where you could hire other players characters for runs but you still controlled them(and they actually got whatever they were paid). The feature has been axed for now but in one of their recent talks about it they did mention they may revisit it as an update/dlc in the future. So for now it will just be making missions your friends can enjoy. Also totally psyched and have watched the video 2-3 times and seen that scenario played even more after watching some of their Q&A's and other live showings where they talk ore and make different choices.
It looks a bit like the old fallout games 1 and 2 (from perspective). It got me intrigued. Did any one play shadowrun RPG pen and paper?
I did, its fun but if i were a gm i would nerf character creation. PCs start off way too strong imho.
