Jacob, is that a jab at my absurd earth elemental who raped those crazy homunculi? If so, I agree. That thing was so overpowered, meaning I was as well.
I actually still play Shadowrun PnP, 3rd Edition, together with Maatard Jans. We have an ongoing campaign for like 2 years now or so. I play a Troll cybered fella, ex-biker who currently is a mercenary/black ops agent. Maatard is a decker (you know the guys who drool while playing with Matrix ). We mainly hunt blood mages, blood spirits and trying to block them from bringing Horrors to the 6th world. I've been playing Shadowrun since 1992 and it remains to this day my favourite RPG game. Alpha footage seems indeed nice, will surely play it when it comes out
Just to chime in here.... I DON'T DROOL! (you fat troll...) But yeah, what Frakk said above. We've been playing Shadowrun 3rd edition for nearly 2 years now and it's a blast. We started off as standard characters created using the point system from the SR Companion and sort of went upwards from there. SR starting characters -are- way too powerful, agreed, but they're supposed to be experienced blokes, so it never was a bummer for me. It just meant we had to fight harder things from the start Also, what Frakk neglected to mention is that my decker also sports a nice set of skillwires, which means that any skill we lack is only one skillsoft away. I will remember the drooling comment next time you ask me to "hack" something. On topic here: I wait SRR with glee! It's among my favorite settings ever I love how Jake is in the game too! And, tbh, I'm of a mind to find a SNES emulator and play the old SNES game. Again. And again.
