So I saw this on a friend's Facebook wall yesterday, I cut out the name of the guy who posted it there, but he's the father of someone my friend knows. Needless to say, I had to read it a full three times to even begin to understand what on earth he was talking about. Spoiler ON KINDERGARDEN, SCHOOLS UNIVERSITY & EDUCATION ..... Close the school system down asap !!!! Send kids to learn > 1. How to Play (not compete but paticipate) and then play, play, play. 2. Send kids to learn about the language of their Hearts, Mind, Soul, Spirit THE LANGUAGE WHERE A MAN CAN SEE THE GODESS IN THE WOMAN AND THE WOMAN THE GOD IN THE MAN .... A RELATIONSHIP OF EQUALS et al. learn to master... important LIFE matters such as; A. our ego's B. Where our greediness and constant misunderstanding of the use of POWER where does it comes from? 3. Send the kids on Global Survival courses (anything from learning to survive with little water + food; anything from identifying; A. which food stuff within a natural environment keeps you alive. B. healthy & fit & disease free (dis-ease free) 4. Teach them how to; A. Interact once more with nature B. How to look after this amazing most beautiful and magical garden we call planet earth (instead of course of raping it as we currently insist) 5. Send the kids from Kindergarden to University to take down very gently those buildings we call places of learning, take down those FOUR SQUARE WALLS of Yucky CEMENT all around the world & together we spend years building ECO FRIENDLY Biological, Natural, Organic INFRASTRUCTURES that not only DO NOT damage one Ant; Spider; Plant, Flower or Tree but actually will do the very opposite ............ P.S. otherwise SCHOOLS just remain as a modern day CATTLE; CHICKEN; PIG; AUTOMOBILE type 'PRODUCTION FACTORY' - producing all types of Human Labour just to feed / supply the Institutional / Corporate / Purchasing / Buying / Consumption money making machine CHAIN we have the embarassement of calling BUSINESS'S; ECONOMY; CAPITALISM; FREE WORLDâ„ ................ My own humble opinion is that 'WE' Homo sapiens are powerful beyond imagining & YES we are totally capable of returning to our original roots and live a BALANCED non greedy - take only what we need from Mother/Father Earth existence. Sharing UNCONDITIONAL 'LOVE' where-ever we go, whom-ever we touch, what-ever we do Your thoughts? I think the intentions behind it are fine, but this person is very much out of touch with reality, in addition to the text being very poorly worded and spelled, with numerous grammatical mistakes throughout (yes I'm being nitpicky, but it makes the message somewhat difficult to understand so my criticism is justified). I like the idea of teaching our kids about the ego, (ab)use of power and interacting with nature, but this guy must have his head in the clouds if he thinks it's the fault of schools and universities. It's to do with society in general, and poor education systems not teaching kids important life lessons (that parents should be teaching anyway). Tearing them down to be replaced by the very vague "ECO FRIENDLY Biological, Natural, Organic INFRASTRUCTURES that not only DO NOT damage one Ant; Spider; Plant, Flower or Tree but actually will do the very opposite" doesn't seem to me to be a practical or even theoretically sound ideal to work towards with the objective of teaching people to be nicer to each other. I'd like to get all your opinions on this, though, just in case I'm missing some kind of revolutionary wisdom that I'm not reading into because I'm confused at why a call to 'return to mother nature' (best way I can put it) is being posted on Facebook, of all things. Actually, your synopsis is actually spot on. While his ideas are okay, in the general sense of the word, his execution is completely off. Sure, we could start building more eco-friendly structures, and start having more respect for nature, but the greed, power abuse, and corporate destruction of the ecosystem is the fault of society as a whole. A society, I might add, that the corporations fostered in the first place. And you are right in another part as well, the power abuse, the greed, etc. should all be taught by the parent, not the education system. Those are life values, and if he doesn't teach them to his kids, then he is a bad parent. :disturbed: There is one thing I agree with though, the education system needs to be reformed, so that it's not so screwed up, i.e. extremely high tuition costs, poor grading/testing structure, etc.
Most of the goals he is stating are those espoused by the group of folks that we typically call hippies. While laudable, most of his goals are not really achievable within the framework of society as it is designed today. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
