Turns out it was Treasure map XI afterall. It was as Aspius said. There are two mineshafts. You can spot the correct one from the river bank. I made the mistake of not following the river.

Love the game. Personally I haven't seen many bugs, but here's a hilarious bug reel:

The only annoying bug I've come across is finding Father Simon (I think that's his name) for the quest where you heal the people in Sasau. The marker takes me to a villager and the only option I have is to pickpocket him. I killed him and looted his house just to make sure it wasn't a note or something he had (and then reloaded because I don't want to play a psycho), but there was nothing. I looked up the quest and found where to actually find the Father, so I'll test that tonight.

Seems like a logical thought process.

Sometimes it is...this game has some weird thought processes.

Like for the quest where you are getting bath drunk with Sir Hans. He sends you to get some special wine, but in order to get into the basement where its located, you have to go upstairs through a private area to find the stairs down to the basement, which isn't a private area. (So you have to go up to go down. Poor building/level design?)

Also, in order to get through the door at the top of the stairs you have to pick it (lock difficulty is very hard), or take a key that belongs to Sir Hans, which is located in a chest in the same room where you start the mission, but he never mentions its in there. So unless you are the type that opens every container you see, you will not know about the key, and even if you did find it, nothing says its for the building.

Later in that quest, you have to pick a bouquet of flowers for Hans's wench. She names off a few different flowers that she wants, but, drunk Henry thinks she wants roses so you have to track down some roses in the upper castles garden, which has all the other flowers she named but that doesn't matter because drunk Henry wants to pick roses for the quest to continue.

I can confirm the location of Father Simon in the "In God's Hands" quest. If you can't find him in Rovna, go to the woods west of Skalitz and follow the creek. Definitely not in a place you'd ever just stumble across him if the quest bugs.

Just did that one. Luckily it didn't bug on me. He was a bit upset when I killed the two people holding him captive, but it doesn't impact the quest.

That doesn't make sense. I mean how are you supposed to rescue him if you don't kill the captors? Sweet talk them? Or can you knock people out?

I'm just glad I met him as a hermit so he can't bitch to the guards that I got off and back on a stolen horse in front of him. I mean, the only reason I stole the horse was because I killed a group of bandits who were attacking guards on the road and they had some sweet gear. Unfortunately the useless trader only had 200g, so I had to find a way to haul that extra 50kg of gear to a town with a non-plebian trader. Then, as usual, I got side tracked and still haven't sold the junk.

You can bluff them and convince them to run away, or fist fight them knock them out. I said screw it and drew my sword.

It doesn't make sense to us but that's how the building was actually built, I'm assuming

I saw others were complaining about the monastery quest and after doing it, I completely agree with the complaints. I hated that story and it is incredibly horrible. I went back and killed everyone because I hated it so much.

Also, I finally finished the main story line, and I am very upset with this game.

The game is unfinished. You don't get to avenge your family or even get the sword back. I know it's been described by the devs as a 3 part game and this is only parts 1+2, but ffs it left me extremely unsatisfied. They should have made a better ending point or better yet, threw in part 3. If I have to pay for part 3, as a dlc, I am not going to buy it, maybe if its another game the size of KCD.

I am so upset with the ending I gave it a negative review on steam.

And patch 1.3.1 nerfed many of the weapons. Several of the easier to find chests, like the one NE of Neuhof, were removed from the game, and several people are saying that those items disappeared from their inventory, while others still have them but the items have lowered attributes.

My computer broke right when I started this, so I haven't actually picked it up again, this might be a good time.

Were you going for deserters or dissenters?

Dissenters. How did I mess that up? A dissenter who is deserting?
