I don't think they should deviate from the current single-player experience but I would like to see what they could do about adding some kind of multiplayer element as well. Not sure what format it would take but seeing groups of players banding together to tackle the Wasteland could be pretty darn cool.
fallout 3 wasn't that great. it was good but got boring after a while. band of players to tackle a wasteland.. should make it a MEOW... massive evolving online world. with lots.. and lots.. of player killing.
that's the direction most MMORPGS are going right? well not most, just the more ambitious ones. I think a world that evolves with the players and it being fallout would bring in lots of people.
Perhaps its just me... but i thought FO3 was the best.... maybe its because i am semi-sorta-kinda Anal retentive...i would LOVE to see a FO4 with scaling co-op. i would spend money on it....
Play FOnline! Remake of FO2 in multiplayer fashion with turn-based and real-time combat. Lots of PK-ing too. It's pretty fucking awesome.
Agreed. Thinking.. you could just grab your character and join your friend's game and help him finish his quest(s). If you hadn't done them they'll be finished for you too, if you've done them you'll get the items etc. xp rewards again (but not one time attributes or so).
