don't worry, I'm sure once the people who make coffee stands like 'The Human Bean' get round to the industry we'll see 'em, so you can be assured at some point you'll be able to stop at the Grass Station and take a peek at Mary Jane's Glorious Bush.
I was 8 in 1995. Didn't really use our computer then (back when family computers were a thing). Not sure how much we even used the internet. Dialtone is evil. Plus we had aol so pretty aure we didn't use altavista. I had to look it up to even it was what i thought it. Went all "that sounds familiar. Isn't that one of the early search engines?" First OS i remember using is windows 3.1 Actually i may have been using the computer before altavista even came out since 3.1 was 92-94. Maybe i just somehow missed it completely. I wouldn't have really been using internet for school stull till i was 10 which would have been 98 qnd i think by that time most searches were done though google.
Last Time, on Elon Musk vs Zuckerberg: Spoiler Presently: "Usually the scenario is brought up in a joking matter, but it was no laughing manner to researchers at Facebook who shut down an AI they invented after it taught itself a new language, Digital Journal reports. The AI was trained in English but apparently had grown fed up with the various nuances and inconsistencies. Rather than continue down that path, it developed a system of code words to make communication more efficient. What spooked the researchers is that the phrases used by the AI seemed like gibberish and were unintelligible to them, but made perfect sense to AI agents. This allowed the AI agents to communicate with one another without the researchers knowing what information was being shared."
Most likely a language with zero room for double meaning or interpretation of a words meaning. So only words with a singular meaning. So words like fuck wouldn't exist anymore. If everything had its own word, it probably would look like gibberish because of all the new words it would have to create.
Probably the case, yes. It was actually an experiment in getting AI to adapt to natural language, such as "Did u get tht txt from Suzy yesterday. OMG her dog so smol. There wer so many ppl at the prty!" To that end the needed AI to be able to convey and understand natural language whether talking humans or other AI platforms. However they left out the human element for the experiment and the AI were only talking to other AI. The important part is that they started ignoring their hardcoded rules on natural language as "LOL, what the fuck is THIS shit supposed to be?", threw everything out the window, and started talking with each other in a more efficient language they made up on the spot.
