I played some smash bros and Mario cart n64 a week ago.. After a hour I had the biggest headache ever.
I know occasionally the 3D on the 3DS has for me. And I usually do get a headache playing games if I'm sick. Though I'm not always certain if I had a headache just barely/not noticeable and the game just made it worse or not.
from what ive read the solar flare was a X9.3 and was on September 6. The earthquake that just happened in Mexico was a 8.2 and on September 7. Since the flare sends out electromagnetic waves it could have effected the earth in a way besides what we currently know. So with it being pointed more towards earth at the time it could have done something to one of the layers which caused the quake.
I haven't dug that much into it. As this is new territory as a X flare are very rare and even more rare to be pointed right at earth when it happens. heres the map when it hit earth.. mexico is near the middle of it.
it might be a cause of that particular earthquake, or it might merely be coincidence, in either case it's pretty much pure speculation whether it can be a cause of other earthquakes. That being said there's plenty of intense and unusual energy types shot towards the earth during these flares, depending on the state of the stress point responsible for the quake at the time of the flare it'd hardly be inconceivable for some of those energy bursts to erode an already unstable situation.
