erm.. sorry...that is a bit different. let me rephrase: Morale Booster raises your Lance Event result Tier by 1... not your "skill level". so if your lowest net result was "0" for Astech (Slim Pickings), Morale Booster rasies it to the +1-2 Tier range (Well Supplied). You only gain bonuses to a skill if it specifically states "+1 bonus to [whatever] skill]". EDIT: I see now what you mean. Your are right. The "Rapid Repairs" buff does indeed give you a +1 to Astech for purposes of repairs. I forgot about that.
Food for thought - we might want to take a mobile repair vehicle for this excursion to help get easier repair rolls for next turn. This turn went swimmingly - Dihm and I got all our missing limbs back. Still need another turns worth of repairs to get all the actuators and equipment back but at least the big part is out of the way.
