Looks like a lot more of a "game" than Second Life. Not putting SL down, I spend quite a bit of time there, but the only times it's a "game" are when someone builds one inside of it. The core experience is really a big graphical chat room combined with a rather complicated building toy. Universe Project is an interesting concept, but it's hard not to be a bit skeptical when the project is -that- ambitious and there's so little information available yet. Just have to hope it does materialize, though!
