DONE! DONE! special case note: melee master has not been tested in use with an axe. if it doesn't allow you to swing twice, i will allow you a mulligan in case you would like to make changes. just waiting on Gihzmo and Delta is done.
most excellent. Magnus, so if we can't run tonight, any chance of running tomorrow? I'd like to get another drop in before Dihm has to go do work travel again...
if we get everything ready tonight... possibly. realistically, i think my schedule is only going to allow for 1 campaign turn every 2 weeks (even that might be pushing it a bit). all my free time has been sucked up working on megamek. i need a break too i'm okay for this sunday if we have everything ready, but after that we need to stretch it out a bit more. let's meet tonight to discuss details.
rolled a 10 for negotiation, so I'll bump our lowest event roll up by one. we also need to choose between: 1) improved repairs (probably not necessary) 2) get airdropped into any hex 3) airstrike against enemy force, reducing enemy BV before the game. what do you guys think?
To clarify dropping into a hex is on the mission map not the in-game map correct? We shouldn't need improved repairs, I've already got "Rapid Repairs" from my Astech roll.
We don't want to get cut off from or lose Beaconlight. What do you think about moving into H4 and link up with the "friendly" forces to take on Goretti Force #3?
The airstrike reduces enemy force size, doesn't actually take points of armor, off vehicles and mechs. I think Magnus would have to manually go in and do damage to the forces in megamek before our match, which would be pretty damn grueling. My personal preference would be to move to support Alpha (as alpha is fighting the heavy forces and it pretty banged up), and use the airstrike to reduce the heavy forces somewhat in advance of our attack. My second choice would be to airdrop to cut off the medium forces retreat. EDIT: on the other hand, it does sound like things are getting crazy in the south (I assume south-west of our position), and the Harbinger might be there.
We know The Butcher is fighting in grid H4. He may know where the Harbinger is as well and be trying to get to it first. We could move southwest to J4 and engage forces there, then set up and wait for him to come to us. We might be looking at splitting forces - one lance come with us southeast, the other move to support Alpha.
