    Maybe it's about sensing that there's something off with the force, intuitively recognizing it needs fixing - but given their fanaticism about being correct it could never slip their mind that they weren't and that the Force itself didn't simply exist to make them even more powerful.

    In most parts of the world age of consent is 16 and legal age for voting, driving and drinking is 18. Not everywhere, most parts. Then there are completely opposite places too.

    It is shown biologically that on average human brain reaches full 'control' of itself around age of 25. Before that maturity of frontal cortex (or what was the place again?) that is responsible for control and consideration (things that limit impulsive behavior) human youth are essentially simply not capable of fully controlling themselves even if they wanted.

    Serious individual differences.

    I was talking about how american kids who live near the canadian border used to cross the border to drink legally in canada since they couldnt in the states. I dont think they can do that anymore because of police actually watching out for that. And border crossings. And reasons.
