Now we have mars, only half a year till rest of them because the show releases on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.

 

WTF guys. I come in here to find some decent anime to watch and instead I get a jaded discussion about the current state of affairs in anime.

 

watched the first few episodes of SAO 2 and gotta say, I like what I see ^.^

 

now that interest's me, I loved SAO and I believe SAO 2 is about an FPS game this time? is it the same kinda vibe or have they gone different?

 

I think 2 is the same game almost with a few differences

 

Can't believe I've never suggested this before, but Wakfu is a great French cartoon if you ever get the chance. About to be dubbed in english soon too.

While I don't deny your point. Wakfu is a prime example of Flash animation done right. Also, it has some of the best villain back stories ever.

 

So I just recently watched The hentai Prince and the Stony Cat. And as most anime with the whole young girl thing I normally find non-watchable. This managed to poke fun at that culture itself and develop characters I could get into. It's worth a watch if anyone is looking for something and could get into that slice of life kind of thing.

 

Like the over clichéd part of when they ask the main character what to call them, its like, darling? no reaction. Sama? no reaction. ect.. and then they say Onii-chan and the guy shits himself and nose bleed everywhere. Its like they just rehash the same shit over and over with just new names and some retarded twist.

 

Yeah. I noticed that. the stone face girl was really the strong suit. I've seen better. I've seen worse. It was worth it for a random anime to pass some time.

 

Oh ive never seen the anime, I was just sayin

may have to watch it sometime this week.

 

Ok, so yeah. Don't Google that anime at work. Glad I was at home, because it didn't even cross my mind what kind of results I'd get.

you're thinking of the continuation of the series after the first 'part', in SOA 2 Kirito is recruited by the government to investigate deaths in another third party VR game called "Gun Gale Online or GGO", I suppose technically it would qualify as a FPS but only in the sense that it's first person because it's a virtual reality game, and not because it's a style. Otherwise it's basically a gun based RPG focused far more on PvP than the other games he's been party to, and apparently people play it as a profession, since it has a coin to currency conversion... all the more reason people might be willing to kill right?

 

I obviously had to google it at work, just, 'cause.

It's not as if I'm going to boot myself over it. Har har.

If you don't mind a bit of fan service and a slight lack of story, Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls is beautiful art wise.

 

A new anime started this year Aldnoah Zero only 6 episodes so far. but the main character is kinda bad ass for a 14 year old. the earthlings have far inferior mecha compared to the martians (they are all human but the ones who went to mars salvaged ancient alien tech)
