Another bandit attack happened today 500km east of Port James in the city of Derbyshire. This marks the third attack this week. The planetary governor's office has stated that bandit forces seem to be coming out of Cutthroat's Gap and their attacks are expected to grow in intensity. With domestic banditry reaching an all time high for this new century, a call to action is clearly on the minds of all.

Marking an unprecedented level of cooperation, each of the five largest corporations on Antallos have pledged to support each other in safeguarding their respective territories. Along with regular security forces, Lancers have been deployed to deal with these bandits directly. Any civilians living near Cutthroat's Gap or the Rakow Sea should contact their regional government office immediately for further instructions.

Thanks, Pete! In other news, the Antallos Battlemech League season is kicking off this weekend and it looks like it will be an exciting one! The final roster is still being finalized, but we can expect quite a few new faces this year. The first game will be an unranked exhibition grand melee that should prove to be quite the spectacle. As some of you may know, there can only be one winner in a grand melee, but most come just for the opportunity to make a name for themselves. A good showing here can open more doors in the future for an aspiring mechjock. We interviewed one such hopeful contender to find out what it takes to get into the extremely competitive world of battlemech arena combat. Find out what he has to say after the break.

The facility offers guided or self-guided tours on a variety of exhibits, the most popular being "Prometheus Rising: History of The Reclamation War". More scandal involving the Guild today. Documents were leaked to our reporters showing a general reduction in oversight regarding the interactions between various Lancers and major corporations over the past decade. Without effective oversight, critics are concerned that corporations could "buy" the loyalties of various Lancers and influence the fragile balance of power. We asked a Guild representative about this and here was their response:

"The Guild functions as a force of peace and stability. We are determined to get to the bottom of this. Any Lancers suspected of accepting bribes or being complacent in the face of corruption will be detained and questioned. Any guilty of such crimes will be punished to the fullest extent of Guild law."​

Critics of the Guild remain skeptic, but if discontent continues to rise, they believe it could force the Guild's hand into action. We will have more details for you tonight at 6.
