    Tbh, I wouldn't be much surprised if there was a core campaign storyline that centered on some of the major political events between the new FedCom, Combine and Capellans from 3022-3040, but the ability to take short contract missions in different places like the Periphery states. Sort of like how MW2 Mercs did it.

    Another stretch goal is for House and brand equipment to give different stats and can function differently.

    like a medium laser magna will be different from a surefire or sunbeam.

    For those that didn't watch the entire thing, in answer to a question they said it's not a battle tech game if there is no option for DFA.

    Also there was some slightly snide remark about gold plated mechs, I am fairly happy with the distance they are putting from PGI. Everything is about engaging customers and building relationships with them to keep them as future customers for other games down the road. They seem to be trying hard to go with a model for open interaction with backers much like SC but trying to ensure that a vocal minority doesn't slew the games path with looking at the wider reactions of the community.
