Beagle Active Probe

    As far as I know, BAP doesn't really do shit in Megamek right now. Here is a description for those who don't know:

    The above doesn't seem to work at all in Megamek. This is unfortunate, but nothing I am prepared to do about it. However, the second paragraph offers an interesting possibility:

    Bluetavius suggested that if someone wants to equip a BAP on their mech, all players that drop with that person could gain an additional +1 XP for "recording and reviewing the battle log". For an organized lance the ideal candidate would likely be whoever is the heaviest as they have more room to spare the 1.5 ton piece of equipment, but the choice is ultimately up to the individuals. There could be other limitations to it as well; the mech with the BAP must survive the fight to gain the XP bonus. What do you guys think?

    Well, I always try to mount BAP on all of my customized mechs (availability permitting), so I am more than OK with this.

    I think my variant of the Phoenix Hawk has BAP already, or is that ECM....

    I doubt it has BAP.... like I said, it currently does not do anything in Megamek. You probably have ECM.
