Looks like a better Destiny with open world exploration and dynamic events, with mecha type suits. Looks pretty cool, but everyone knows how this goes. The gameplay trailer looks amazing, but who knows what the actual game will be.
Like star citizen, it won't be near what we expected. Unlike star citizen, it won't be vapor ware. Bwahahahaha
On the plus side, Bioware always let's me have sex with aliens. They know a man needs some blue sometimes.
Apparently the Shape of Water movie has a human fish monster sex scene. Thought you would want to know.
Really want this to be good but I'm seeing a big red flag with this trailer. The faked "gamer chatter" in the video is REALLY distracting for me. I get what they were going for, but it is terribly disingenuous to present the game with this. It feels like the gamer version of reality TV. I get that this won't bother some people, but it's a huge huge turn off for me. Also, I'm concerned this "totally not Destiny" title might get abused by EA with unnecessary micro-transactions and absurd pricing schemes. Anyone want to bet on there being a season pass? I'm going to hand wave this trailer off as marketing fucking up again, but I'm wary of this title like I'm wary of EA. I guess we will see.
Those are pretty much my thoughts. Bioware has had some good stuff since the EA buyout/takeover or whatever, but their stuff has been VERY hit or miss. Mass Effect: Andromeda (don't care, it had their logo on it, that makes them responsible) and Dragon Age: Inquisition were pretty iffy.
Yea I wonder if its going to be more Firefally with open 'world' or more Destiny with instanced mission areas. If I'd have to guess I'd go with more Destiny, less requirement on massive co-habitation. Its got a pretty outside, wonder if it'll taste good.
I was less interested in that and more interested in the working atmosphere at Bioware... and the signs are not positive. But let's face it; lead devs don't generally leave in the middle of game development if everything is going well.
So another director just left Bioware after working there for 22 years. He even made a "captain of the Titanic" reference in his exit interview. The more I hear about this game, the less I am interested in playing it. Interview link: https://www.gameinformer.com/interv...ng-bioware-the-state-of-anthem-and-his-future
