Has anyone seen this yet? It looks bad ass! And for all you Witcher fanboys - its being made by the same company.
Oh yea, they released that trailer what, a year ago or more? Unfortunately they have not started working on it yet. It is probably going to be 2018 before we see it.
Came out in 2012, I believe? They're working on it now, but remaining very hush hush about the details. Kind of like how Bioware's still remaining silent about Mass Effect 4.
Caught wind of this a while ago, but I didn't think much of it, because it's just a CG trailer of a title based on a tabletop RPG. It is indeed in production right now, but obviously the majority of their team is focused on Witcher 3. Their studio is something like 200some people, and half of them are actively working on Witcher 3, with the remainder being split between engine development, and Cyberpunk. I imagine that we're still a ways off from release, but I think we'll start to get more once Witcher 3 launches. Until then, I'll likely forget about this.
Not much news about it. On the other hand no news it is good news, because rage of the fan boyz is not a pretty sight. They did drop one piece of information: "Cyberpunk 2077 is due to arrive sometime in the 2017-2021 window."
They're making a Gwent game, ie the card game from within the Witcher into its own real game, they said in their investor question report that they have like 100 people just working on that and the rest on cyberpunk.
Would have been hilarious if they had said "some time before 2077" Really glad to hear Gwent is making a strong comeback. Best game-within-a-game I've played in awhile.
Gameception. Tuna, did you see if they indicated in their investor question report how many bodies they had assigned to project work at the moment? Last I checked they were at 200ish heads total, but that was back in January.
What is this nonsense? Don't they understand that they need to lay off staff and pay higher dividends now that they have money? Besides, who spends money on development these days? Can't they just do a quick reskin or create some random generator and call it a game and then spend the budget on marketing? It costs less and produces more profit with less risk. Silly oldskool production methods. It's all about brand now, not the product, not the quality!
Honestly didn't actually read the thing just read a post about some of the highlights a few days back, I can try to dig it up again EDIT: sourced from here “There are currently more game developers working on Cyberpunk 2077 than on The Witcher 3 in its most intensive month,”
Foreshadowing? [SPOILER ALERT!] skip to 1:05 for important bits Spoiler: How cool would it be... Would blow everyone's mind if she makes a cameo appearance in Cyberpunk.
https://www.altchar.com/games-news/...eature-music-that-has-never-been-heard-before "CD Projekt Red is working with Brian Mantia and Melissa Reese in order to find the soundtrack that'll fit their upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077. Both have been members of the famous rock band Guns ‘N Roses. Cyberpunk 2077 will have 'music that has never been heard before'." Thought that was neat. Also the cyberpunk 2077 twitter went live again for the first time in years if you haven't heard already. Be sure to check around there from time to time.
Somehow I totally missed this game but have liked what I have seen lately on it, even if it will end up being a 2020 release. 2018 e3 trailer And more interesting the more recent extended game play showcase Note video is NSFW
Yea its super Deus Exy, I love it. This is probably my #1 most looked forward to game right now, so I'm sure it will disappoint me somehow.
