Has anyone play tested D&D next? Of course I don't think you could actually talk about it if you had... http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dndnext.aspx I went to the panel at PAX East and it sounds like they are putting some of the power back into the DMs hands and giving them more tools. Like quick starts and modules to be able to pull rule sets in and out without purchasing major modules and tacking them on. It should be one big modular system that you pick what you want.
I think this belongs here
That's.. pretty sweet actually. But I don't actually enjoy painting tiny figures... so I'd like a pre-painted set...
I haven't actually played D&D since 4th edition came out (played it for about 1 month, that was enough for me). That said, I have been playing Pathfinder which is heavily based on 3.5 for several years now. Also, I am in the middle of writing a module for Pathfinder/3.5 to be published. I will keep everyone posted when this is complete. But a new miniature series, that's always good!
Gyouza is in the process of creating/hosting ASOIAFRPG campaign. We've completed most of the building of our House with the exception of back history that I'm working on and a few of us have submitted fleshed out characters with the exception of some of my secretive holdings/actions. I must say that it is shaping up to be an intriguing game and experience.
Looks like this campaign is full up, Jacob. I'll let you know if someone drops or if another campaign is started up.
I'd like to join a campaign if anyone is planning on setting something up for weekends. I'm familiar with 3.5 and 4th to a degree. It's been a long time though.....
