Kony use to kill thousands of children from Uganda. He took some of the girls into sexual slavery and made the boys into ruthless killing machines. He moved out of Uganda a few years ago and signed a peace treaty. He is currently in Sudan and I am not sure if he still controls his army.
Sad but true... north of the border here, there are injustices that everyone here seems content to look the other way for. The dictatorship in Zimbabwe, the civil wars in Nigeria and Uganda, the genocide in the DRC. I'll direct anyone who'd care to take a look at this video, Gruknor. I'm not really sure there is much anyone can do about Africa, period. I usually try to avoid all discussion of it because things always get heated.

Last I heard, Mandela was recovering quite well... he is quite old, which is worth mentioning seeing as every news report has doctors quoting "Health is consistent for a man of his age." On a personal note: the 1994 to 1998 term of service was perhaps the most glorious time we had in this country. Nowadays with the "Protection of Information Act" and "Pay as you Drive Road Tolls"... we're going backwards again. Makes me wish the Madala was fit to serve one more term...
