A massive persistent world combat game with logistics concerns and manufacturing. Everything from bullets, bandages, to bayonets get built by people at factories, then people transport them to the front, and people there use them to fight for persistent gains in (eventually) a world map. I'm really liking the direction this game is going for already. I love the idea of a world map your battles can effect, and I love being able to have other things to do like being a medic, a logistics guy, or a manufacturer. The guys working on the project have done a couple of videos and they seem like pretty cool people.
Wait... players make the stuff? Do people really want to do that? Work in a simulated factory? I mean I guess its like crafting in game, but it just seems... so monotonous
I haven't checked it all out yet. Mostly just learning from what people told me and watching these videos. I don't know who makes it, or how much work it takes. But it'd be kind of cool being the guy everyone gets their bullets from.
No they won't. They'll take you for granted, you'll get bored, stop playing, and then some other sucker will start making bullets because they think it will make everyone love them.
Nah. If they take me for granted i'll make it so the bullets either don't work or they explode and injure the user.
I hate everything. More specifically, I have no interest in hyper realistic logistics and production simulations. But hey, if that's your jam, I hope the game includes it.
I want to make the botulism contaminated tinned beef! But from the title, I'm concerned this game will mostly be furries making each other crusty fursuit handjobs...
Not enough click bait and too much research. "Death by 'Firefox'" or "Flaming Foxholes" would bring more sales/views with less effort, which is what matters in news.
I will put this on my watchlist, but I'm definitely waiting until release for this. In the past, I've been so distracted with early access games that I sometimes forget about the ones that are at full release and ready to play right now (like Running With Rifles) .
Anyone tried this? It looks kind of like Running With Rifles. Top down wargame, but this looks like a large scale long term game.
