This is a simple guide to creating custom decks for Magic the Gathering.

    1. Compile your deck at your favorite Magic deck building website out there (or skip this step and go to Step 3).
    2. Export and save the card list as a text document. Here is an example:
    3. Go to this website: https://www.frogtown.me/#
    4. Create a new deck (or import an existing deck list) (see picture below).

      Capture.png
    5. If you are importing a basic text decklist, click "Bulk add" and copy/paste list into the space provided (see picture above). Otherwise, create your deck using the frogtown website's UI.
    6. When you are done creating/importing your deck, click "Export"->"TabletopSimulator" (see picture above).
    7. Immediately after this, a new button will appear to the right called "Save TTS Deck". Click that and your TTS deck (a .json file) should now download to your computer "Downloads" folder. The file name will be a random string of letters. This is normal and you can ignore it for now. You can rename your deck later inside TTS.
    8. Go to this filepath:
      C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\my games\Tabletop Simulator\Mods\Workshop
    9. If you have not already, create a new folder called "Imports" (this will make it easier to find later) and place your deck file in this new folder.
    10. Load up TTS and "Create" a new game.
    11. In the "Games" window, click "Workshop" and find your recently made "Imports" folder. Your new deck should be found inside. Click on your new deck.
    12. If you did everything right, your new deck should load without issue. You can review the contents of your deck by right clicking on your deck and selecting "Search".
    13. IMPORTANT! - save your deck in TTS by right clicking and selecting "Save Object", then name your deck whatever you want to call it. Normally, this will save by default to your "Root" objects folder, but we will organize this with the next few steps.

Congratulations! You deck is saved on TTS! Anytime you want to retrieve it, simply go to: "Objects->Saved Objects" to find your deck.
    Organizing Your Decks
    1. Organizing your decks is simple. Click on "Objects" at the top of your screen and select "Saved Objects".
    2. Click the folder icon at the top of the window to create a new folder and name it. I recommend naming it "Decks MTG" so that it will sort alphabetically well with other card games you may add later.
    3. Mouse over your deck and three dots should appear; this is your "Options" menu for the file.
    4. Click "Options" on the file and select "Move". TTS will then ask where you want to move the file. You can also "Delete" or "Rename" a file as needed.

Congratulations! Your decks are now organized!
    NOTES FOR ADVANCED PLAYERS!
    • SIDEBOARDS
If you wish to have a sideboard, it is recommended that you create it as a separate "deck". The reasons for this is that TTS does not recognize a sideboard from your main deck and will therefore mix the two together as one. This means that every time you load your deck, you will need to sort through it to separate your sideboard from the main deck. It's a pain in the ass. Instead, I recommend loading your sideboard separately when you need it.

If for some reason the Frogtown website goes down, the older (slower) way to add cards can be done by watching this video:

If all of this is too much for you, there is one other alternative, but let me stress that THIS IS THE SUPER SLOW METHOD:

Subscribe to this TTS mod on the STeam Workshop:
    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1459964440
(mod is up to date as of Jan. 2019)

Alternative mod can be found here:
    https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1348015291

These mods contain the ENTIRE list of MTG cards... yes, that's OVER NINETEEN THOUSAND CARDS. They are organized by release set. You can then search each set to find the cards you need and then build a complete deck inside TTS.

This is an okay method if you are doing draft games from specific sets... but again...

THIS IS THE SLOWEST METHOD AND IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

If you are hopeless when it comes to following this guide and... if you ask me really nicely, I may upload your deck for you, but I will absolutely require a few things from you:
    1. You must still make the deck yourself and create a basic text decklist (directions for this are explained in the OP).
    2. Post the basic text decklist here (or on Discord) for me.
    3. You abide by the fact that "you owe me one".
