I have found a fairly cheap one and since my old 8800GTS is starting to show it's age i am looking to upgrade. (If anyone have a different alternative keep the following in mind I have a fairly limited budget that tops out at 1000 SEK / 150 USD / 122 Euro and this must include shipping and handling to sweden and it must be Nvidia ) So is this card worth paying for, i do not need to be gaming at the penultimate of resolutions and just want a good upgrade for my old card.
I have this card--it performs well, but the 560 isn't that much more. Picked it up for cheap, though.
What myuu said - I've got the 560 ti and it runs everything superbly. It even oc's really well if you're into that kind of thing
Order have been put in, this should solve some of the "issues" i have had with some games. Hopefully it will arrive before the weekend.
I used a 540 for a long time. I had a nice performance punch and had a good feature set. The 500 series seems to run a little hotter, but most models come with upgraded fans to handle it.
Yupp this one had a fan the size of a CD-rom almost. Any way new card installed and running, you would be surprised how much difference it does to upgrade a 6 year old card... .. . Ok perhaps not that surprising but still it is a very nice thing especially as i can live with not having all the bells and whistles turned on. Barbie Horse Adventure runs better then ever.
