Well shit, look who it is. Good to see you man. My wife and I just had our first kid 7 months ago, which has been wild. How've you been? Still an insufferable ass?
Is it bad that I see the title of the thread and go, hey that’s me One of these days we need to get clamps back out and have some cascading engine failures
Things are good! I'm in Boston (well a suburb), recently got a good paying job at a tech start up downtown. My wife just opened a boardgame pub near the city called Adventure Pub thats getting off the ground. Busy busy busy. What are y'all up to these days?
If I get sent on a trip to our office in Boston in the next while I'll have to try to track the place down. Sounds like the kind of place I'd enjoy patronizing. ...which is different than the justifiable way in which I like to patronize you.
Oh cool. A place sort of like that opened near my house called Quarters (Melbourne,Florida). They lean more toward the arcade demographic, but if you are looking for some low cost inspiration, I can grab some flyers from Quarters and send them your way; they are pretty good about weekly community events. I know just enough about starting a business to know how tough it can be. Best of luck to both of you on that. In other news, I graduated from nursing school and moved to a swanky new place (pool, fenced backyard, etc.) that amazingly is costing me about half of what I paid at my old shitty apartment. Can't really complain. Life is good. As far as the Skjaldborg goes, its been slow, but fairly steady. Dihm has been busy with work and being a dad. MH is good about checking in here on the forums, but is otherwise quite busy overseas doing good work. Trev and I have been keeping up with maintenance fairly well. You might see some new faces, but there's a lot of old faces I'm sure you will recognize. We do planned activities still, but it's all very casual. Some of us still play MWO, but most of us are looking forward to Mechwarrior 5 (which is honestly looking very good). Star Citizen is still a ways off, so we've settled for other games to scratch that "space trucker" itch (currently Space Engineers and later Avorion after it hits release). There's plenty of other stuff to see on the event page. If schedules permit, I'm currently trying to get something going with Alpha Strike Battletech. It's basically a simplified and faster version of Classic BT (because we all have busy lives these days). Flirting with the idea of picking up our old campaign where we left off, but in the newer, faster format (everything can be converted). Would be awesome to see King Klamps fight once more. That's everything off the top of my head.
Just relocated to Wyoming. Got a part time job at University of Wyoming. Life is going good. Sounds like you are doing great
I guess I should mention that we are officially expecting our second spawn January 4th... plus new job, and working on home renovation, a NAS, new computer being built. So busy + more busy
I purposely didn't respond because I have to reestablish my bone fides as Worst Person in the Universe
