    not Beaconlight. You meant Outpost Ignis. Beaconlight is the regional capital to the northwest. Taking Beaconlight will require some serious effort, but it is not required for our success.

    Also, by pulling back to Ignis, Delta has involved itself in the defense of that Outpost. We are currently under attack by more 'Roaming Bandits'. Nothing you guys can't handle though; mostly light armor and infantry. Gamma is there too.

    This may sound silly but with no enemies near us, would it make sense to sit tight for a turn and try to get everybody fixed up?

    If not we can use this turn to get the heaviest damage repaired (ie limbs) then work on less intensive stuff as we move out. Nobody is going to move far enough this turn to engage enemy forces if we do move out.

    I have no problem with this, but be aware that your enemies will also take advantage of the lull in the fighting to repair and rearm themselves. There are also penalties if you allow two or more forces to attack the same target.

    More specifically, if (for example) Alpha lance allows two forces to coordinate and attack at the same time, both enemy forces gain a +1 bonus to their strength bar (blue bar). Strength can be 0-4 (2 is average) and the higher it is, the tougher each fight will be. Enemies can lose strength if they are repeatedly and soundly defeated, but can also gain strength if left alone to recover for too long (at the discretion of the GM usually).

    For the short term, however, there is nothing to worry about... but you should be aware of this finer point.
