StarMade was decent, but left a lot to be desired. Space Engineers (meh name, but oh well) addresses a lot of the issues I had with star-made. It's still in alpha, and multiplayer has not been released yet (soon tho), but for those who liked Starmade and/or Minecraft it's worth a try. http://store.steampowered.com/app/244850
we do know about this and we have people who own it but last look it was still super early beta with lots of prospects and hope. I think we were just waiting on things to get a little more finished. when we looked it had very very few features turned on and we just placed it on the back burner for a few months to let the dev get it rolling. This game came out right as a bunch of Borg were bouncing beta to beta and was one of the ones they really liked...but wanted to wait 6-12 months to try to give the game a real chance. good find though, looks like a couple xmass updates edit: heres the change long. http://forums.keenswh.com/?forum=326211 This guy seems like he is pretty active about fixing 2-5 things at a time. I glanced at the changes and a lot are "small" but they are turning on features like warheads, magnetic docking, beacons, gatling guns, shit like that. No multi player or shields yet but the gatling video has "experimental multi player" video
They patched the game today... crafting is now in. This means mining has a purpose and we are one step closer to survival mode.
The initial phase of multiplayer is now enabled for this game, just FYI for those interested. Still kinda laggy and buggy, but it's there.
Kinda. When you start the game, theres a new button called "join world" that opens a list of public servers. Presumably this is done via steam.
