Sounds like a Sy Fy Original. In a future where death has been conquered, a mad scientist has created a time machine to go back to the year... 2016! (play dramatic music)
Pretty sure that's right on spot for at least some of the south XD, sounds more Texan or Mississippi, but I haven't spent much time in Alabama.
By the Starks, the winter never came. I have used the car heater for two or three times and that was in December. Right now is supposed to be the coldest time of the year. Problems: - It's 35 degrees too hot (Celsius), should be -35, is +2 - We're missing 40cm of snow - We have no snow! Further - because there is no snow to reflect Sun's energy back to space and because all the ground is essentially black or dark brown, we are being heated far more than usual for this time of the year. Also, because all the snow is now in the form of mist and clouds we don't have clear night skies during which the remaining heat would be radiated to space, instead it is insulated by this constant fog and cloud. And when Sun shines on us again the clouds and fog help retain more of the energy while the ground itself absorbs more of it. Usually we get lasting snow before the darkest period. Now we're past the darkest period and entering what ought to be the coldest moment but without the snow I don't see this place cooling anymore as days are already considerably longer than during the darkest period. Essentially, we missed the darkest period without any snow and now we won't have any snow for the remainder of "winter". We missed the entire winter!
This was funny (or awful) depending on your take: https://www.reddit.com/r/electronics/comments/2yd3ea/be_aware_of_fake_capacitors/ The funniest part to me was this: ----------------- Also, dottirs can be a pain and if you ever had one, it makes sense to prepare in advance:
Well it was 70 degrees farenheit here christmas day (and a few other days). That is 21 celcius. A few weeks ago it started at 10 F monday and we ere in the high 60s by the end of the week. So in one week (in celcius) we went from -12 to 20ish. There is way more insane temperature changes then that.
