Do we seriously not have a thread for this? Oh well. Just a heads up for all you guys who do play, our area of operation is completely covered by PvP. The little one we started in de L'isle blew up into a full scale one, and one showed up on Fort-de-France. So it's very difficult to get anywhere. The good news is that Santa Catalina is clear of PvP again.
Thanks for the scurvy-free group, Smokey. So.. How do we run the PVP blockade? I got Commendations to spend.
Well, they were fighting pirates outside L'Isle (which is a pirate town). That started creating unrest in the town and with enough unrest it turns into a PVP zone
Soooo.... how did everyone all of a sudden get sucked into this game? I know absolutely nothing about it.
I just saw a bunch of people in there last weekend, hopped in the channel and decided it was worth a shot. I would say it's not very beginner friendly but since we've got so many people on that can help it gets a lot better. I'm up to level 8 and just upgraded my ship to a Bermuda Sloop. I'm trying to get as much done around Jenny Bay as I can since anything north of there is all dangerous.
I still got 3 economy slots free .. any suggestions what I should start producing? Currently I'm producing Brass and brass fittings.
Lv12 tonight and have a partially outfitted Snow. She's speedy, but not too good in a turn. Real guns (instead of just swivels) on the bow and stern are a plus, though.
Quick rundown of what I have.... Elizabeth James, level 50 privateer, 2 large shipyards, 1 medium shipyard, and 1 textile mill. All in Turtling Bay. Victoria Longley, level 19 freetrader, master draughtman's office. Turtling Bay. These characters were created over 4 years ago when the game originally launched. If you need any help, don't hesitate to holler....
Just started, im lvl 3 not sure what im doing, I have managed to board some ships out in jenny bay. My ship is called the Eagle 5
