This looks interesting, and I have nothing else to do today anyway!

So, yeah, played for about 20 minutes. Spent much of that time trying to figure out how leave the first area before realizing how extremely WIP this is. The base game and models are there though, so they should be releasing more content soon. One thing I noticed was a lack of tutorial or explanation on how the controls work (You can't even pull up the options to look at the control key bindings.) So, I'll give you guys a quick go through on the controls.

Movement is standard WASD, with Space Bar being jump. You move the camera by clicking and dragging. Down in the right hand side of the screen you have your menu bar. Clicking anything here will quickly show that 90% of it just a placeholder, with the only button that works being the Pokeball. Clicking the Pokeball will change your mouse cursor to a targeting reticle, clicking will throw a Pokeball. Re-click the Pokeball button to remove the reticle. Above the menu bar is your Pokemon team roster. Since you currently have no Pokemon any you catch will go here. Once you've caught a Pokemon you can select it in the roster, pressing Tab will then bring out the selected Pokemon. It will follow you wherever you go until you initiate a battle, where you will then take direct control over the Pokemon. To initiate a battle click on a wild Pokemon while one of yours is out and the Battle will start. You attack by pressing the number keys 1-4. This will bring up a blue pulsing targeting reticle on the ground which shows where your attack will land, click to release the attack. Yes, attacks in this game are skill shots so no need to worry about RNG missing (Fuck you Sand Attack.)

There's only a small starter area to roam around in that's occupied by 5 Pokemon. Once you've caught one or two and battled a few times the game is pretty much over because there's nothing left to do. Like I said, extremely WIP.

Ahh yes, maybe I should have added some explanation of the controls... Thank you Audit :)

Wait... are you saying that you start with no Pokemon at all?

If so, does that mean you have to wrestle the first Pokemon you intend to catch into submission with your bare hands?

It's extremely early Alpha, so it's 100% catch chance and you have infinite Pokeballs.
