“Oh, yeah, I know the Kountze arctic terror looks pretty frightening, but if you know your way around them, they’re really not that hard to handle.” ... “I have some bad news for you, my friend: I’m not left-handed either.” ... “My legs! My legs! Dear God, what happened to my legs!?” ... “Be advised that your target is highly dangerous. Last night, four of Solaris City’s finest tried to apprehend him...the suspect managed to kill three... Doctors say the fourth will be lucky if he ever walks again…” ... “Okay, people. Like in the drills. On my mark, we—Goddammit, Leroy, no! Hold your fire! Hold your fire!” .... “I drank what!?” ... “Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like my winter castle on Tatyana…” ... “It may not look like much now, but that Clint has been in my family since the days of the Camerons, and I’d still take it over anything else you’d assign me to…sir.” ...
And just when you thought this project was dead. Mechwarriors... grab your guns and grenades (you remember how to use them, right?). Welcome to Extra-Vehicular Combat (EVC). I give you the Mechwarrior Battleboard: It's not very pretty right now, but expect it to be updated when I have more time. For now, this basic design will serve our purposes.
The more detailed mechanics of this are still very much a work in progress. The "special event" we are playing this weekend is a stripped down version of the rules I am working on. The full document regarding EVC can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jbywrsgjwtk9h6p/PROJECT EGO.xls (again, this is a work in progress)
EVC rules updated and made easier to read: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b6bryq0urfu1v74/Extra-Vehicular Combat.xls
updated EVC ruleset again with a few new additions: FLAMETHROWER! more infantry types with unique stats more special actions
