    I still don't want to do any aerospace but would anybody be interested in running tanks/VTOLs?

    If so and we get enough for a full lance I may look into using those.
     
  12. As you folks may know, the Periphery didn't get all of the latest and greatest tech right after it was designed. In fact, it could be years before even House armies got access to new designs and decades before it trickled down to Periphery nations. The Outworlds Militia, being a newer organization, did not have a strong military industrial base to fall back on and therefore had to procure whatever material it could through outside vendors who were often not willing to give up their "Latest and Greatest". Therefore, beginning mech choices will be limited to models designed in or before the year 2550. This does include some variants that use "Primitive" technology, being cheaper designs but maybe not as effective as later models.

    Here is a list of mechs fitting that time frame restriction. Note that not all of these may be available either depending on starting cost restrictions which we haven't nailed down yet. This should get you some ideas of what you could be working with though.

    Now I need to know how many C-bills I can get my grubby little hands on so that I can start planning which mech I shall use to kill all the infidels... I mean the SLDF.

    4 million.. same as before. except now they are more easily tracked by Tech Points

    1 Tech Point = 500,000 Cbills

    The reason for this will become abundantly clear when we start doing customizations.

    Ok was wondering since Skwi said the starting cost restrictions hadnt been "nailed" down yet. Didnt know if it would be lower since this campaign is in about the poorest Periphery realm there is.
