    Hello folks!

So after much deliberation and discussion, it has been decided that we will be retiring some of our game-specific ribbons, while updating and grandfathering in others. What we want to do is move towards more community focused awards system. So, this means that things like Ace and such will still be carried forwards(Kill 50% of an enemy team in an PvP arena based combat game).

Don't worry, all data, images, and user lists for each of these has been saved, so the data is not lost! That being said, we are reducing the amount of clutter on this page. As per always, new ribbon ideas are welcome! Just post the idea here.

The Following is a list of changes:
    • All Medals(Drakbane and Rings of Baldr) have had wording change to apply to any game within our purview, instead of MWO or SC only.
    • All MWO Rank ribbons have been removed.
    • Most MWO specific ribbons have been removed(user lists saved), except for the following: Ace, Legend Killer, The Old Guard, Scavenger Hunt 1 and 2, Combat Photographer, You're a Hero!, and Quarterly Quad Champion.
    • Of those MWO ribbons remaining, wording has been changed to apply to any game that fits the criteria of the description.
    • SC Ribbons are retained for now(there's only two, one of which for an event that has yet to kick off)
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact myself or MagnusEffect.

For anyone worried about losing anything important, do not fear! We want our community medals and ribbons to mean something and that is why we are going "quality over quantity", but know that all of the most prestigious awards (and some less so) will stay true to their original theme. The biggest change will be that we are expanding our awards to be more "community focused". We will explain more at our next meeting this Saturday (1800 EST).
