After playing this at the anniversary party, I've been thinking about setting up a server for it. Aspius and I have been doing a bit of testing and easy mode isn't an option. Although it does give you access to a map at the start (which would help us find each other, especially on maps like the Russian one which apparently has 14+ bridges), the zombies are a joke. You can walk within 10m of them without drawing aggro. Though they can somehow do this... Spoiler Anyway, is there interest in having a Borg server? I wouldn't mind having one and stocking a location with clothes, weapons, etc just for random Borg shenanigans on things like Shieldwall Day since the game is FTP.
i never heard of this before. installed! im down, as long as i can do whatever i want, when i want and no one judges my humping.
Normally that would be true, however I've been told (scolded, chastised, reprimanded, beaten) that I push even the 'Borg's standards, that even though there is a free humping policy, that it's no excuse to "take advantage of it."
It seemed amusing for the hour or so we played it. Seems like a fun game for get togethers. Lack of sobriety didn't seem to be much of a hindrance, either.
Special zombies make things far more interesting. And ironic. Note: Not all fireman zombies are fire zombies, and all fire zombies aren't fireman zombies. And mega zombies are fucking terrifying. I put two mags from a Honeybadger (rare assault rifle) into the face of one and it still killed me.
A Canadian mega zombie got me earlier today. As it ravaged my body, it kept apologizing profusely. We need to get something going.
