Holy shit. This game is legit Mech Warrior In VR. Ok, not to the point of customization, but things are pretty fucking into it in this game. The Controls for this game you get used to pretty quickly but its hard to remember what is where without looking. You have a throttle stick for Foward, Park and Reverse. You have a turning stick for left and right. You have a Jetpack stick which you have to pull up and then steer. The feedback on this lets you know you have the control in this. there is an airhorn you can pull on. Communication is a god damn walkie talkie, which if wasnt awesome enough on its own, there is a visual radio com where you can see the other persons avatar, and there head and gestures correspond to the voice/tilting of the headset. makes you feel like a character in this game. not only is there those functions there is starting up and turning off the mech via key in ignition, Ejection pulls in the seat, minimap and another screen you can pull into view or turn your head. there is alot just in the cockpit of these mechs for this game. its incredible. The game is PVP too The weapons may be a slight letdown to some as you have to look with the reticle and then fire using trigger 1 or trigger 2. you can however change your loadouts on your mech and there is over heating and shutting down. There is honestly alot on this game. And if you have VR i recommend giving it a try because holy shit is it worth it. Wait how would you play this without VR? Just mouse / keyboard buttons? thats like way less fun. I also enjoy how they ripped off almost every gameplay mechanic from Mech Warrior but its not Mech Warrior / Battletech
Thanks for the Merge. I did try just searching using the search bar but that didnt seem to have worked properly. Either way. Im kinda sad im on different play times compared to you guys unless its saturday or sunday for me, but i would love to group up sometime.
some fun game modes. i really like the mode "get the salvage" where you have to hold onto it for as long as you can while your team protects you. we ended up with 55 kills and i got 9 of those with only 2 deaths. was a good game.
I totally forgot about picking this up during the winter sale with as busy as I have been at work, anyone know when the next steam sale will be. Granted I’ll probably get it anyway, but on sale would be nice.
