    Do we still need pilots? Seems like the AI is handling all of that now.

    Helicopters will be viable enough that I assume we'll end up piloting those, but fixed wings are out at the moment.

    As much as I fly and love doing it, I'm not going to be the first one to write off a $40million ch-47. I'm leaning to not having even rotor pilots other than in extreme situations. One little lag hickup and we loose millions in equipment and personal.

  12. Captures during a deployment are about the only situation I see us needing pilots.

    I'm teaching myself fixed-wing CAS, but it is a painful process with what little time I have for myself and gaming in general.
    I'm also learning about spotting usable LZ's and how to land quickly without borking the helicopter.

    One day, hopefully, I can provide CAS with both fixed and rotary wing.
