Star Colonel level gets all of that. A Lot of the items in the stretch goal are digital. So while it seems like a lot its not much in the way of physical. The more expensive items that have been unlocked are given to the higher donation levels for free. If you look at the other donation levels they have less unlocked stuff because they are not getting it for free at the level they are. Star colonel gets these that the captain level doesnt. the neoprene mat, dog tag, premium pilot decks which are 3 decks, and faction pack shirt, pin, patch. Also now get 2 issues of the new magazine and standees with record sheets of all the mechs if we hit 2 million. Everyone will also get a free urbanmech mini if we hit 2 million
I dunno, they're showing it as part of the $300 package, strip off the overhead and you're looking at maybe $35-50 (this is being extremely generous on the costs of the materials, it's -possible- they might cost more, but in general you can reduce the costs of materials buying in large quantities, since they don't actually have to buy until they know how much they're going to be making they should easily be able to get the best cost per volume possible) worth of raw materials in total, considering you're ordering it prior to it being produced that takes a huge load off the overhead costs because you are only risking whatever you make beyond those things that are preordered. I'd have to dig into it to see if it's actually free to the package, but given the way it's shown it certainly seems to imply it's part of it. It may be possible that the stretch goal also unlocks the ability to purchase these items for packages that they are not included in *shrug*. I could just be talking out my ass, I haven't actually looked at the full disclosure, I can't afford to pitch in right now anyway XD
If it does not have a fully functional small laser I am disappoint (obviously a laser pointer, small laser doesn't actually deal damage anyway ^.^)
Nuh uh, small laser comes stock Dihm! If I'm gonna mod it I'm gonna tear out a half ton of armor and upgrade it to a medium XD
Well shit this just got spicy... so in the AMA they said if a group of people have pledged and all have canon characters. They can group them all together to form a canon merc group. They also said if you want to die in some glorious way that you can. These just need to be annotated when you fill out the information for your character.
Since they have some odd 2 thousand canon characters to burn through now they need ways of going through them. They stated if you have a bunch of buddies that all have canon characters they will try to get you all together if they can. When you submit your information for the character to annotate it that you belong to this group and these other people and so forth.
So the Skjaldborg can now be a canon unit... <<edit>> So I will have a character and art work that I'll put towards the glorious immortalizing of the shield wall.
Highlights from what I've seen in the ama. The canon characters can be requested to be in any age, no specific lock down to clan invasion timeline, possible to be star league era possibly age of war. The life size Natasha Kerensky body pillow didn't make the stretch goal. Going as a merc unit will likely get you into canon faster. When asked for the long term plans for battletech, the bird creatures from far country actually had an industrialized world and will make a reappearance as the Ilkhan taking over...
