Has War Thunder's most popular modes got you down? Tired of being outclassed by try-hards with supernatural twitch-reflex skills thanks to having no job and no life? Tired of needing to split your attention across multiple vehicles just to be competitive? Tired of having the whole enemy team dog-pile on you? Simulation Mode has you covered!

In Simulation (Enduring Confrontations) you can:
    • play with your friends without party size limitations
    • win by playing smarter, not harder
    • ignore awful matchmaking and avoid unfair fights
    • play the vehicles you like most without being punished for it
    • enjoy unlimited respawns

"But Magnus, Simulation mode is really hard and the controls are terrible", you say. "But Magnus, Simulation requires a proper HOTAS to not be hot garbage", you might also say. You could say that..., but you would be wro... I mean, that is A-OKAY! Here in the Skjaldborg we hear your concerns and have seasoned professionals working 24/7 to solve the modern problems for the modern gamer!

Thanks to our groundbreaking research methods and teams of brilliant scientists, we have found a solution!

No really... its actually a lot of fun once you have controls that don't cause you to immediately lawn dart into the ground. Give it a try.

Addendum: I would like to amend the above video regarding roll axis:
    • Having A/D hotkeyed for left/right roll respectively (at 100% sensitivity) will allow you to make snap rolls more quickly; which is particularly effective when you need to make very fast maneuvers transitioning left and right.
