So for my birthday I got some headphones, My Mother in law just tripped over the cord and broke the connections.
I protect my headphones. Others in my house break them. She couldn't look where her fat feet where, and she was using my computer becasue she BROKE HERS. she did the same thing with hers, cept when she tripped over her headphones she pulled her computer off the shelf she keeps it on. MY computer is on the floor, could only pull out the wires.
I've done that with my laptop though it was my mp3 player (sansa not a goddamn ipod) that was still on my belt loop but plugged into my laptop. I don't remember if I was charging it or putting music on it. either way i forgot I still had it on me. head phones though I would think would fall off head or come out of ears (if earbuds) before it pulled pc off shelf.
My dog likes to chew on cables when I ignore her to play games so I bought the Logitech H800. Its wireless but uses a small usb charge cable and the battery last for about 6 hours on a full charge. Good sound and it has a mic.
Sorry to hear about that, Bunny. If the cost isn't prohibitive for you, get some nice Logitech G-series or Astro A40s. They both have detachable cables, so when you're not using them, or when the inevitable clumsy whale happens, the cable'll just pull out of the socket instead of destroying the device. I've had dogs get tangled up in my A40s several times and did nothing more than prevent me from hearing or talking in TS until I reconnected them. Durable as fuck.
This is exactly the reason why I started using cheap, Walmart headphones. Seemed the more I dished out for headphones, the more the chances would increase that they would meet an untimely fate.
