New map rotation up.

Starting off with a 20 minute Team Solaris-Arena on Extremity (Asteroid).

The rest are 45 minute Terrain Control (seemed to be a favorite mode) with various tweaks.

I was hoping for something I could even contribute to, but wrong tech and possibly not an active project.

But looks totally worth trying out.

 

Does not the game download the maps for you when you join a server you dont have a map for ? seem to remember it does on funboks servers

one server it asked me to confirm downloading maps I didn't have "you do not have this map. do you want to download it?" something along those lines.

 

There is a setting in the .cfg for a "map url" that refers to the location on the HDD, so that may be it. Give me a bit and I'll sort it out.

Edit: To actually have a map to download, I have to host the file (175MB) on an actual website. Not something I wanted to do with DasServer, but I'll look into it.

 

Its not hard to install. Just drop it in the folder and call it good.

 

How does Tuesdays sound for a MWLL day/night? That seems to be the only time without MWO company practices. Timing might be odd with our mix of Euro and NA time zones but my thought was that people just join in as they can and we'll roll aloong since the matches are long and automaticslly restart when finished.

 

Yeah sounds good, Hopefully we can all find a time to match our time zones.
