I have but I admit, was couple days ago.

 

I have finally got into a random server. I'll try our server again.

 

Well pooh. Might not have a good enough connection on my end.

 

Unfortunately, I can get into only one server. So, it could very well be on my end.

 

Oh, does any one have any experience with MWLL? I royally suck at it. I can hardly bind my keys.

LL is on DasServer and appears to be working. Search "Skjaldborg".

Ask someone for the password.

I think there is a problem between those who run the full Crysis Wars and those who run the free demo.

The full version searches automatically for CD Keys when running, and I believe servers hosted using the full version require a valid CD Key for any users connecting. If running the server from a client based on the free demo, which has no CD Key authorization, then the server does not recognize clients connecting with valid CD keys.

In other words, if the server host is using the free demo version then everybody else should as well.

 

Server is using the Trial version. However, I have a Steam copy that can be installed and configured, though I'm not sure that will be necessary. Just a shame that folks who do 'the right thing' and pay for a copy (like I did) are dicked.

 

I agree, I did the same thing. Oh well, for the sake of the group and especially for Shieldwall Day the free trial version is the way to go.

 

Felt great to jump back into MWLL

 

Still searching for the .cfg or server command to get rid of the cd key check. We need this.

 

What time are the other 'Borgs on? Would like to get back into this.

Would be nice to setup a MWLL day, All those who wish to play said mod meet up on a set date and time. ???

 

It's being integrated as part of Shieldwall Day but we can certainly try to set up more times for MWLL!

 

game won't launch, just gives me an error saying that a current version couldn't be found or some shit and asks if I want to update, then i get another error when I try to update.

 

ok, so now I got it to launch (from within Crysis Wars) but no servers show up in the Server List? help....

 

hooray, got it working! but the servers are all empty (sob). Maybe i can get a game or two in later.

 

I may have it figured out.

I need someone without a valid key to connect to DasServer and see if they can join the game.

 

Connected and working fine with my Steam keyed version.
